I stayed at the Old Drapery Guesthouse for about three weeks in April 2008. From the moment I met Mike and Amanda it was clear I was going to be well looked after. The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable and the breakfast menu a real treat to start your day. There's no doubt I'll be returning in the future. Lovely folk and lovely surroundings. Many thanks, James

I'm a regular B&B'er but very few places make it to my "must return" list. I need a new list now, headed "must return AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE"!! Beautiful house, wonderfully comfortable rooms with lots of thoughtful extras and a breakfast to die for. Home from home? No, much MUCH better than that! Well done Amanda & Mike, long may you continue!

I have stayed with Mandy and Mike most weekends for almost a year now and they have always made me really welcome. They try their utmost to make people's stay as enjoyable as possible. They have even been known to get up to give me breakfast when I need to leave on a Sunday morning at 6.00 am and wave me off with a smile! The rooms are always clean and bright, with fluffy white towels and little extras that make a stay extra special. It really is as picture box as the photos suggest. The breakfasts are fantastic (especially the sausages!). Mandy's mum is also known to make a chearful appearance at breakfast - when she can tear herself away from the ironing board, that is! I have stayed in other 4 star B&B and this one is definitely at the very top of the rating.
